Since the tragic events of Orlando, many people have come forward claiming that the shooter Omar Mateen was gay. Some people have even claimed to have had a sexual relationship with him. Others have claimed that they had communicated with him on gay apps (Such as Grindr and Jackd) and yet others have said that he was in regular touch with other gays using his android device.

Well the latest reports from the FBI reveal that Omar Mateen was not gay. They found no evidence that he had gay over that he ever used gay dating apps. The FBI now has Omar’s computers and has stated that there is no evidence to support that Mateen had gay lovers. So the theory that he killed these people because he was rejected by gays does not add up.

Mateen, 29, had mentioned to the police on June 12 at 2 am, that he had started the shootings at the Pulse Regular club. He was eventually killed by the police. At the time of the phone calls, Mateen claimed that he was carrying out the shootings on behalf of the militant Islamic state group, ISIS – he was sending a message to the US to halt bombings in Syria ad Iraq.
However, right after the shootings, several patrons from Pulse Regular came forward to state that Mateen was a frequent visitor to the club and he had even contacted them via the dating apps Grindr, Jack’d and Adam4Adam. In fact, several days ago a man, who disguised himself, claimed that he even had sex with Mateen after meeting on the gay dating app, Grindr. This anonymous male went on to claim that Mateen had sex with other men, including a threesome with Puerto Rican, who allegedly told Mateen after having had unprotected sex with him, that he was HIV positive. However, the FBI does not consider this man’s account credible.

To verify what others have been claiming about Mateen being gay, the FBI claims that it has thoroughly analyzed his laptop, electronic devices and even his cell phone. So far, they have found no incriminating evidence that Mateen had any gay affiliations. He did not even have gay pornography or lived a gay lifestyle. He was married twice and had a young son. All the evidence, says the FBI, reveals that Mateen did not have a secret gay life as what others have claimed.

The FBI continues to investigate Mateen’s past but so far they believe that ALL the witnesses are not credible or appear to be mixing Mateen with someone else.

What is even more complex to understand is that the FBI has not uncovered any direct links between Mateen and ISIS or any other radical Muslim group! It is possible that Mateen may have had other digital devices or cellphones, which have not yet been uncovered.
However, most of the men at Pulse Regular claim that the gunmen seen in the photos released after the shooting is the same person who visited the nightclub days before. They are convinced Mateen was on the gap apps and chatting up gay males. These men claim that the FBI is lying to cover up their mistake. It was the FBI who failed to place Mateen on the terrorist list and completely missed him. Now they are trying to make it appear that Mateen was an Islamic radical and not a gay banger. It is the FBI’s mistake that led to this unfortunate massacre. Whatever the case, it is tragic that 49 innocent people lost their lives through no fault of their own.
